1、 Classified by filtering accuracy

Ultrafiltration filter cartridge:
The filtering accuracy range is between 0.1 and 0.01 micrometers.
It can filter small particles such as suspended solids, bacteria, and some viruses in water.

Nanofiltration filter cartridge:
The filtering accuracy range is between 0.01 and 0.001 micrometers.
It can filter smaller particles such as inorganic salts and heavy metal ions in water.

Reverse osmosis filter element:
The filtering accuracy range is below 0.001 microns.
It can remove ion level impurities such as heavy metal ions and organic matter from water, making the water quality close to pure water.

Specific micron level filter element:
0.1 micron precision filter cartridge: with a grade size between 0.05 and 0.15 microns, it can effectively prevent fine particles below 0.1 microns.
0.2 micron precision filter element: with a grade size between 0.15 and 0.25 microns, it can effectively prevent particles of 0.2 microns and below.
Precision filter cartridges such as 0.45 microns, 0.65 microns, 1 micron, 3 microns, 5 microns, 10 microns, 25 microns, 50 microns, and 100 microns are named after the smallest particle size they can filter out, and correspond to the corresponding grade size range.

2、 Classified by filter cartridge type

Particle filter cartridge:
The filtration accuracy is generally above 5 microns.
It can filter impurities such as large particles, sediment, and suspended solids, and is widely used in the field of liquid filtration.

Cloth filter element:
The filtration accuracy is generally below 5 microns.
It can filter some relatively small impurities, such as oils, pigments, suspended solids, bacteria, etc., and is widely used in fields such as electronics, chemical engineering, and pharmaceuticals.

3、 Other classification methods
In addition to classification based on filtration accuracy and filter type, precision filters can also be classified according to other criteria, such as materials (such as activated carbon filters, polypropylene filters, etc.), structures (such as folding, tubular, etc.), and application areas (such as household water purifiers, industrial water treatment, etc.).

4、 Considerations for choosing precision filter cartridges
In practical applications, the following factors need to be considered when selecting precision filter cartridges:
Filtering accuracy: Choose the appropriate filtering accuracy according to actual needs.
Materials: Filter cartridges made of different materials have different filtration effects and service lives.
Structure: The structure of the filter element will affect its filtration efficiency and pollutant holding capacity.
Cost: The price of precision filter cartridges of different grades may vary, and factors such as filtration efficiency, price, and service life need to be balanced.
