The main steps of cleaning the melt filter element include three stages: hydrolysis, pre oxidation, and oxidation.
1. Hydrolysis stage: Start the overheating heater and open the steam valve. Use high-temperature steam as the heat carrier to promote the cracking of the polymer on the surface of the filter element, and reduce the viscosity of the high viscosity melt, so that the melt wrapped around the filter element can become a small particle structure as much as possible. Steam not only serves as a heat carrier, but also acts as a transport medium, carrying away the gases and particles produced by cracking from the filter element.
2. Pre oxidation stage: During this stage, continue to increase the temperature of the superheated heater and keep the steam valve open. First, open one small air valve, and then in the second small step, open two small air valves. Adding a small amount of air to the steam causes a slight oxidation reaction on the surface of the particles. By controlling the concentration of oxygen and gradually increasing the amount of oxygen, the oxidation reaction is made more complete.
3. Oxidation stage: Close the steam valve and two small air valves, and open the large air valve. At this point, the easily reactive small particles in the melt have undergone complete oxidation reactions, while some larger particles have undergone preliminary oxidation reactions on the surface. After increasing the oxygen concentration, the oxidation reaction becomes more complete.
