The Polyester Fabric Air Filter Cartridge is a durable, high-performance filtration solution designed for industrial ventilation, dust collection, and HVAC systems. Constructed from thermally bonded non-woven polyester fabric, this cartridge offers excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and cleanability. Unlike disposable paper or synthetic filters, this polyester fabric cartridge is fully washable and reusable, significantly reducing consumable waste and long‑term operating costs.

The dimensions of the filter is optimized for compact yet high‑capacity filter housings, providing a large effective filtration area without occupying excessive space. Q1: What is the difference between paper and polyester fabric media?
A: Paper media offers excellent filtration efficiency (F7-F9) at a lower cost and is suitable for general industrial applications. Polyester fabric provides higher durability, better temperature resistance (up to 120°C), and is often cleanable and reusable . Polyester also offers better moisture resistance and is available with various surface treatments.

Q2: Can I use this filter for oil mist or sticky dust?

A: Standard polyester fabric may blind with oil. For oily applications , we recommend oleophobic‑coated polyester – available upon request. Please specify your application when ordering.

Q3: Is this cartridge compatible with high‑temperature air streams?

A: Standard polyester is rated for continuous operation up to 100°C . For higher temperatures (e.g., drying ovens, exhaust), consider our glass fibre, PTFE, or sintered metal filters.

Q: How to choose the suitable air filter media?

A: Selecting the right media depends on three factors: 

(1) Dust characteristics – dry dust (wood, grain, cement) works well with standard polyester; oily or sticky dust requires oleophobic‑coated media. 

(2) Operating temperature – polyester is suitable up to 100°C; above that, choose glass fibre (120°C) or PTFE/sintered metal (260°C+). 

(3) Efficiency requirement – for coarse pre‑filtration , polyester fabric is ideal; for fine dust or absolute-rated capture , switch to glass fibre or synthetic fine‑fibre media.
