There are several methods to distinguish the quality of paper air filters:

1. Water detection method: Place the air filter flat on the ground or table, and sprinkle some water on the filter paper. Observe the water seepage of the filter paper:

If the filter paper seeps within 5 minutes, it indicates that the air filter is made of cotton pulp paper and has poor quality. It is not recommended to use. ‌

If the filter paper seeps within 2-5 hours, it indicates that the filter paper is made of low-grade wood pulp paper. Although it can be used, it may affect the pumping efficiency of the air compressor. ‌

If the filter paper seeps within 12-15 hours, it belongs to the mid-range filter paper, and usually high-quality domestic machine manufacturers will use this type of filter paper. ‌

If the filter paper still does not leak after 24 hours, it indicates that the quality of the filter paper is very high, and usually high-end machine manufacturers will choose this type of filter paper.

2. Observe the uniformity, light transmittance, and surface smoothness of the filter paper: When the filter paper is observed in front of the light, if it is uniform and fine, with good light transmittance and surface smoothness, it indicates that the filter paper has good filtration accuracy and air permeability. ‌

3. Check the depth and number of folds of the filter paper: The more depth and number of folds the filter paper has, the larger the filtering area of the air filter and the better the air permeability
