1、 Different working principles
The anti-static filter cartridge is used for dust removal through electrostatic action. It adopts the same pole mutual exclusion technology in electrostatic precipitators, which increases the potential of the electrode on the surface of the filter cartridge to 5-10KV, making the dust charged and generating the same pole repulsion force with the electrode, causing the dust to separate.
A regular filter cartridge is used to remove dust by filtering through a filter layer. It uses a bag filter to collect dust, which enters from the periphery of the filter bag, passes through the surface of the filter bag, and captures the dust on the surface, while clean air passes through the inside of the filter bag.
2、 Applicable scope varies
The anti-static filter cartridge is suitable for places prone to static sparks, such as coal mills, sandblasting machines, chemical plants, etc. The dust in these places is usually flammable and explosive. If ordinary filter cartridges are used, it may generate static sparks and cause explosion accidents.
Ordinary filter cartridges are suitable for general industrial and air purification fields. In fields such as casting, mechanical manufacturing, electronics, food, pharmaceuticals, etc.
3、 Different characteristics
The anti-static filter cartridge not only has the dust removal function of a regular filter cartridge, but also has the function of avoiding fire and explosion caused by static sparks, and has the characteristics of explosion-proof and anti-static. The filter material of the anti-static filter cartridge is conductive, which can prevent dust accumulation and cause static sparks, which is very important for working environments with high explosion hazards.
Ordinary filter cartridges do not have electrostatic protection function, but they have a wide range of applications, low cost, and are easy to install and maintain.
